Ron Paul sucks
A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for “I don’t really understand politics or policy.”
A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for “I value my rights as a white person being able to smoke weed over everything else. And I may not really even know what that ‘everything else’ may be.”
Reblogging because I consider him far more dangerous than any other candidate out there.

You really understand nothing about politics, your nation, it’s history, who runs the place and how you got here then.
Educate yourself, instead of buying into the media propaganda..
Actually, I have. I’ve read up on Ron Paul, and many of the other candidates. I don’t believe in his agenda, nor any other ‘major’ Republican conservative parties out there. I don’t like his stances on various topics, I don’t like how he runs his campaign and I don’t believe he’d make a good president. In fact, I don’t particularly care for the majority of politicians running around, especially not the nonsense certain governors pulled when the government almost shut down.
Rick Santorum isn’t any better, and I won’t even touch on Newt Gingrich (if he’s still in the running, I haven’t been checking up on the news these past two weeks). That is not to say there aren’t some good politicians out there, but Ron Paul isn’t one of those people. I’ve heard the man speak, I wasn’t impressed.

Well honestly then do you understand libertarianism? I have a hard time understanding what you mean. Can you list the things you don’t like about his platform, I will be happy to explain the ideas behind them and the reasoning. The problem with Ron is that most people don’t understand what he’s talking about, because they’ve never been informed about their freedoms or how the government is supposed to work.
I don’t mean to insult you or anything of that nature, but there is a fair bit of ignorance surrounding his policies, his views and again, I’m happy to shed light on those.
There are a few really heavy things he does/does not believe in that have convinced me I will not be voting for him. I could discuss these, but there are two things I hate getting into debates with people about. Those are:
1) Religion
2) Politics
None of them ever come out pretty. Ever. I only really said something because you reblogged me, and the simple fact that not everyone just sits back and believes the ‘media hype’. I do go to their webpages, I do read what they claim to be about. I watch videos of things they say, although I don’t keep heavy tabs on the candidates. In the end, these candidates can promise whatever they want, but their actions have spoken louder than their words, and I’ve seen enough of what Ron Paul has done in his campaign to know I’m not in favor of him.
I thank you for being polite and willing to discuss the matter civilly, but like I said, I really don’t like getting into these sort of debates on the internet.

I can respect that, to each his own, but I think if he was elected, you’d find yourself a much free-er individual with far less stress and problems from the federal government. I guess we’ll have to see.
